"Just recently relocated from SF Bay area to LA area. Began working with Michael about 9 months before we were really ready to buy. He was extremely patient in taking us around to show us what different areas of LA and surrounding towns were like. Took us to many open houses and learned what we were looking for in a house & neighborhood. Before moving, we emailed him constantly about different houses we found online and asked if he had been to them. If he had, he shared his impressions. If he hadn't and the house was still being shown, he went to the open house and sent us a video tour, with commentary, about what he saw -- the positive and negative points. And this was before we were ready to buy a home.

Once we sold our existing home and moved to a temporary residence in the LA area, we began a serious search for a home. Michael was extraordinarily helpful in guiding us to homes that were the style we liked and were within our price range. When we identified a house that we wanted to bid on, he helped us determine a reasonable bid, one which he thought the seller would find attractive, was consistent with what the house was worth, and was within our price range.

Throughout this entire process, he was extraordinarily patient, listened to our needs, and didn't put any pressure on us to buy a home before we found "the right one." In fact, on several occasions he cautioned us about bidding on a home that we liked, either because he felt it was overpriced or had problems with it -- usually involving more repairs/renovation work that we wanted to take on.
